Self-defense workshop taught by POP Gym! We discussed what makes us feel safe and then learned some techniques for defending ourselves. We practiced kicks, blocks, strikes and how to get out of certain holds (like a pony tail grab!). We are excited and ready to continue finding strength in ourselves and strength in our communities.
