“I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own.”

 — Audre Lorde, “The Uses of Anger: Women Responding to Racism"

Our goal.

Our work centers on the advancement of immigration and gender rights for young people in the United States. We recognize that no social issue can be understood and addressed in isolation. As Audre Lorde pointed out, “we do not lead single-issue lives”. Our work focuses on gender and immigration but it is intersected by race, class, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive justice, among other areas.

This page was curated to stand in solidarity with the causes that directly intersect our everyday work. The resources found in each section were carefully selected to serve as starting points to widen your understanding of current social issues and find ways to take action towards the advancement of human rights.
